The Lake of Bolsena is one of the most beautiful zones of central Italy not only for his landscapes but also for his remarkable cultural and eno-gastronomical interest. In the last years the mix of such characteristics have allowed to this part of Italy of being “discovered” from the tourists whom beyond a dipped relaxant vacation in the nature, offered by the splendid volcanic basin of the lake, they do not want to renounce to cultural excursions in the near places.
At this point we must remember that the Tuscia is the native land of the ancient Etruscan people and there are numerous, several, large and small museums that accommodate the more precious objects, while there are a lot of sites, where it is possible to admire tombs and necropoli or rests of ancient villas.
The vicinity with Rome and the making part of what it was the “Stato Pontificio”, are the natural consequence of the presence of Churches, monasteri, splendid and ancient Cathedrals uniques in their kind; of castles and medieval towns built on earth spurs, and nobiliar palaces and villas with parks opened to the public.
